CARBON LASER PEEL
Carbon laser facials deeply exfoliate the skin, drawing out impurities and stimulating collagen production and skin cell turnover. We use an advanced complex of skin acids for initial exfoliation and filling of the epidermis with water before a carbon mask is applied to the skin.
The carbon absorbs excess sebum and attaches to loose dead skin cells from within the pores. Using a low-fluence Nd:YAG Q- Switch 1064nm laser, the light is absorbed by the carbon, rapidly converting to energy and fracturing the carbon particles.
This rapid evaporation of carbon particles removes the excess sebum and dead skin cells with it. The heat stimulus encourages new collagen formation, improving the size of the pores and softening fine lines. Combined with LED phototherapy it leaves the skin glowing, and inflammation reduced. There is little to no downtime with this treatment.
Only mild erythema may be present for a few hours.
There may be a slight tingle sensation with some warmth, but the treatment is comfortable.
